iCartesian™ is GIS application that provides conversion between cartesian and geodetic coordinate systems for the specified reference ellipsoid.
Features:
- Conversion between geodetic and cartesian coordinate systems.
- Single entry for geographic and cartesian coordinates: automatic recognition and parsing of the entered format.
- Simple copy and paste exchange of data with other applications.
- High conversion precision: up to 13 digits after the decimal point for all supported formats.
- Determines geographic coordinate of the current location.
- Supports three (3) geographic coordinate formats: DD (decimal degrees), DMS (degrees, minutes, seconds), and DM (degrees, minutes). Total of 22 format variations.
- Supports five (5) distance units (meter, kilometer, foot, yard, mile)
- Supports 23 commonly used reference ellipsoids:
